Frequently Asked Questions
A curated guide for collectors
What do you create?
Original mixed media works born underwater, finished with hand-applied fine art materials, and presented as singular pieces—never repeated.
Are these originals?
Yes. Each work exists only once, in its own scale and palette.
Are the materials archival?
Every element—pigment print, encaustic or acrylic medium, metallic leaf, and custom wood panel—is chosen for longevity and museum-level preservation.
Will the wax melt?
No. Encaustic remains stable in normal home environments and softens only at extreme temperatures far beyond everyday conditions.
Is heat a concern?
Gentle, ambient warmth is perfectly safe. Avoid direct, intense heat sources such as prolonged harsh sun.
How do I care for my artwork?
Dust softly.
No sprays or cleaners.
May use clothes dampened lightly with water to clean..
Minimal care is all it needs.
How long will it last?
Encaustic has endured for millennia. With proper placement, your piece will live gracefully for generations.
How is the artwork presented?
Each work is created on a custom cradled panel and finished with a refined float frame or painted edges—modern and clean.
Do you offer custom commissions?
Yes. A limited number each year, created specifically for your space and vision.
Do you work on location? Will you come to my pool?
Yes. For select commissions, I travel to private residences and on-location pools that meet the aesthetic and technical needs of underwater work. The environment is assessed for light, clarity, and safety. If your pool is suitable, I will create the session in your own space, shaping the experience around your home and your desired mood. I have worked in natural outdoor locations and we can discuss if this is an option..

Are sales final?
Yes. As each piece is unique. If damage occurs during transit, please contact me immediately.
